C & D Aerospace

This project included a new 3-story building totaling 100,000 square feet of corporate offices and research and development space plus an attached one-story 50,000 square feet facility for the manufacture of commercial aerospace components. The structure is steel-framed and incorporates braced frames. Due to the site seismicity and geology, a specially designed concrete mat foundation system was utilized to mitigate damage from soil liquefaction.
